Rajnandgaon 02 March 2021. Today, the Prasad Yojana started in the direction of the development of the world famous Dongargarh as Maa Bamleshwari. Tourism development will be started here with an amount of 43 crore 33 lakh rupees. In this, along with construction of Sri Yantra-shaped Pilgrim Facilitation Center, meditation center and other facilities will be started on Pragyagiri hill.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that through the year 2018 , the process of bringing Dongargarh under the Prasad Yojana was underway and today it was completed. It is the hard work of everyone associated with it, including MP , Tourism Minister and Union Tourism Minister. Dongargarh Hindu ,The center of faith of Jainism and Buddhism. Thousands of people congregate here every day in Chaitra and Shardeya Navaratri. About 50 lakh people gather here in a year and seek the blessings of Mother. The Prasad Yojana will further increase the facilities for these tourists. This scheme will also promote tourism here , which will benefit the local people. He also constructed so the saying festivals appreciate locals are guests here and everyone they so love and respect – justifies the choice. Thank you for this. The Chief Minister said that Amarkantak has also been included in this scheme in Madhya Pradesh. The way people circumnavigate Narmada ,Similarly, people go around Amarkantak. Most of the devotees of Chhattisgarh come to Amarkantak and half of the circumambulation falls in Chhattisgarh. If any plan is also made by the Center for the development of this region, then the tourism potential in Amarkantak will increase further. He said that the year 2016 is different – Union Tourism Ministry to different plans 80 were given Rs crore. This time a large amount has been received through the Prasad Yojana , which will increase tourism development in Dongargarh. The potential for tourism development in the state , as in this direction will work , the more increase in tourism.
On this occasion, Union Minister of State for Tourism and Culture connected through virtual medium (Independent Charge ) Government of India, Shri Prahlada Singh Patel said that during the days of undivided Madhya Pradesh, I came on Dongargarh Navratri and my religious memories and reverence are associated with this pilgrimage site. This place is the main site of Sanatan , Buddhist and Jain beliefs. It shows the cultural diversity of India. There is a huge potential for tourism in this area. The Prasad Yojana will open up new possibilities for tourism development of Dongargarh. Union Tourism and Culture Minister of State ( Independent Charge ) said that infrastructure and all will work beautifying these tourist centers , will grow as much potential for the development.
On this occasion, Home and Tourism Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu said that after forming our government, we made a special strategy to pursue tourism. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel gave me the responsibility of tourism further. I met Union Minister Shri Prahlada Patel and assured him that he would take tourism forward in Chhattisgarh. Whatever you propose , there will be no shortage for the development of Chhattisgarh. I thank Mr. Patel for his inclusion in the Prasad Yojana. According to the way Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel is thinking to develop tourism, we are working. The kind support extended by Chief Minister Mr. Baghel to increase our tourist destinations ,We are doing a very good job with that. Member of Parliament Shri Santosh Pandey said on this occasion that the Prasad Yojana has been brought for improving the infrastructure in the pilgrimage centers. Tourism will be increased through this scheme. Along with Maa Bamleshwari, this area is also famous as a pilgrimage to Chandragiri and Prajnagiri. The Prasad Yojana will open new possibilities for its development.

What is Prasad Yojana – The
Prasad Yojana is a scheme of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. This scheme, known as Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Heritage Arrangement Drive, has 31 nationwide.Pilgrimage centers are being developed.
It will be developed in Dongargarh –
Pilgrim Facilitation Center will be built on nine and a half acres of land in Dongargarh. It will be the size of the Sri Lantra. There will be basic facilities like Meditation Center , Rest Room , Prasad Room , Cultural Forum , Clock Room , Satsang Room , Exhibition Gallery , Landscaping , Solar Lighting , Drinking Water etc. Apart from this construction, the steps of the mother’s temple are renovated , railings , sheds , drinking water facilities, pagodas , solar lighting ,CCTV , pond beautification , biotilate , medical room , signage etc. will be made. Meditation center , cafeteria , parking , stair renovations , solar lighting , drinking water and signage will be provided in the Pragyagiri hill
