Raipur, 26 February 2021. Higher Education Minister Umesh Patel reviewed the progress of the activities being carried out by the government universities, colleges in the state on the gradation of Naik (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) at Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhavan) here today. He has stated in clear words that work should be done in mission mode to improve the grade gradation of all government higher educational institutions operating in the state. For this, he has given instructions to the Vice Chancellors of the University and Principals of the colleges to prepare and implement an effective action plan.
Minister Patel has said that the progress of the ongoing action to improve the Naq gradation will be reviewed by him himself every two months. He has directed to constitute three teams at the state level, university level and district level for monitoring and monitoring this work. Minister Patel has said that the university and college will be honored for adopting better practices for gradation of higher educational institutions and effective improvement in educational institutions. He has directed to complete all pending procedures related to Naik gradation by 31 March.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Mr. Dhananjay Dewangan, Vice Chancellors of all government and recognized universities and principals of colleges.
