Raipur, 04 February 2021. In the next round of monitoring the progress and review of the implementation of the major schemes included in the Chhattisgarh government’s top priority, the Chief Secretary, Amitabh Jain reviewed the work of the Department of Health, Energy and Cooperation today. The meeting held at Sirpur Bhawan, Raipur, mainly discussed the Hotbazar Clinic, promotion of use of generic medicine, recovery of pending electric charges for increasing revenue and commercial development of land unused by Markfed.
While reviewing the hot market clinic scheme being operated by the Health Department for health check-up of citizens in rural areas and distribution of essential life-saving medicines, Mr. Jain has said that to facilitate this facility to reach every market in rural areas. All necessary steps should be taken. The Chief Secretary has given instructions to pay special attention to the decoration and branding of vehicles running as a hot market clinic. So that these vehicles can be remotely identified as hot market clinic. The Chief Secretary has given instructions to pay special attention to the operation of hot market clinic in the inner rural areas. To promote the use of generic medicines, the Chief Secretary has given instructions to open Jan Aushadhi Center in all the government medical colleges and district hospitals of the state at a good location.
Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain has instructed to start the process of recovery of pending electricity charges of industrial and commercial institutions to increase revenue. He has said that an action plan for recovery of pending electricity charges should be made and presented to the departmental minister and the recovery proceedings should be started. Jain has given instructions to develop an action plan for the commercial development of unusable land of various organizations of Markfed and through it. Additional Chief Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department Mrs. Renuji Pillai and Special Secretary of Energy Department and Mr. Ankit Anand, Managing Director of Markfed were present in the meeting.
