Raipur 04 February 2021. Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu held a meeting of departmental officers in the ministry today. He instructed to speed up the action being taken against irregular financial companies (chit funds) and return the money to investors in coordination with district collectors. He asked for regular review of cases filed against innocent tribals of 8 Naxal-affected districts of the state under the committee constituted under the chairmanship of retired judge Mr. Patnaik and to take action for withdrawal of cases. The Home Minister also directed to expedite the withdrawal of political cases. He also asked the inspector to immediately submit a proposal for the pending case for promotion to 73 vacant posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police. Similarly, instructions were given to expedite the process of recruitment of sub-inspectors and constables.
