Important announcement of Chief Minister in the field of medical education

Raipur, 02 February 2021.  Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel announced the acquisition of the late Mr. Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Medical College. He said that the process of making this medical college will be started soon. For this, the proposal will be brought in the cabinet soon and another process will be started. The Chief Minister announced the intention while addressing the program organized on the occasion of the death anniversary of late Chandulal Chandrakar at Kachandur in Durg district today. He also unveiled the statue of Late Shri Chandulal Chandrakara. It is noteworthy that due to difficulty in operating the Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Medical College, the management had requested the government to take over the college in view of the improvement of medical education in the state.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that to strengthen the medical education in Durg district, Late Shri Chandulal Chandrakar had a dream that medical colleges should be opened here, he had a long discussion with Dr. AP Chandrakar and after that the first of the region The medical college was open. Right now there were some problems in operating this medical college and the management shared its problems with the government. He said that the dream seen by the late Shri Chandulal Chandrakar Phule Phule is to keep it moving forward. On this occasion, the Chief Minister shared memories associated with the late Shri Chandulal Chandrakar. He said that the late Shri Chandulal Chandrakar was always associated with the land. He made frequent foreign trips but did not give up his Chhattisgarh nature. Whenever you go abroad, Carrying Datun with him, he used to carry the typical khurmi with him. He was rich in huge personality. His scope of interest was quite wide. He was very fond of photography and apart from reporting in India and abroad, his photography was also very famous.
On this occasion, Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu said that the contribution of Late Shri Chandulal Chandrakar ji is very important in the creation of Chhattisgarh state, he also contributed in politics as well as journalism. In his address on the occasion, the Minister in-charge of the district, Mr. Mohammad Akbar said that the Government of Chhattisgarh is working on the path shown by the late Mr. Chandulal Chandrakar. What he dreamed about the state of Chhattisgarh. The Government is determined to fulfill it. In his address on this occasion, PHE Minister Shri Guru Rudra Kumar said that his grandmother Late Smt. Minimata and late Shri Chandulal Chandrakar were MPs together and both of them had a very important contribution in the development of Chhattisgarh.
