Corona Warriors and officers and employees doing excellent work  honored

Raipur, 26 January 2021.  The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated in Surguja district with great enthusiasm and dignity. At the district level main function organized at Police Ground in Ambikapur, Chief Guest, Urban Administration and Development of Chhattisgarh Government and Minister in charge of Surguja district, Dr. Shivkumar Dahria hoisted the national flag and took the salute of the parade. The ceremony honored Corona warriors, officers and employees who did outstanding work to prevent corona infection. The ceremony was followed by masks and social distancing to prevent infection with Kovid-19.

    After hoisting the national flag by Chief Guest Dr. Dahria, pigeons symbolizing peace and colorful balloons as a symbol of joy were flown into the sky. After this, the message sent by the Chief Guest to the public of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel was read out. Martyrs’ families were honored with shawls and quince in the ceremony.
    At the ceremony, Minister Dr. Dahria honored Corona Warriors and officers and employees of various departments for outstanding work. Dr. PS Sisodia was awarded the Commendation Card for Collector Award for Excellence in Government Service-2021.
    On this occasion, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Medicine Plant Board Mr. Balakrishna Pathak, President of Chhattisgarh Labor Board Mr. Shafi Ahmed, Vice President of Twenty Point Implementation Committee Mr. Ajay Agarwal, Lundra MLA Dr. Pritam Ram, President of District Panchayat Mrs. Madhu Singh, Vice President Mr. Rakesh Gupta, Mayor Dr. Ajay Tirkey, Surguja Commissioner Ms. G. Kindo, Inspector General of Surguja Range Mr. RP Sai, Collector Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Jha, Chief Conservator of Forests Mr. Ashutosh Shrivastava, Superintendent of Police Mr. TR Koshima, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Shri Vinay Kumar Langeh along with other public representatives, officers and employees and distinguished citizens were present.
