Raipur, 21 January 2021. The Commissioner of Bilaspur Division, Dr. Sanjay Alang, today inspected the paddy procurement center at village Sarkhas in Janjgir Champa district. During this, he inquired about the necessary arrangements, availability of gunny, etc. at the center. He discussed with the committee officials and gave necessary instructions. The collector informed that more than 93 percent of the paddy in the district has been purchased. As per the directive, tokens are being issued to small farmers on priority basis. For the protection of paddy, cap covers, double layer tarpaulin etc. have been arranged. Paddy picking and gunny availability are also being continuously monitored. Officers of the concerned departments were present on the occasion.
