Raipur: Excise Department’s big action: seized Madira from other province and busted fake factory for making liquor

Raipur, 21 January 2021. On the direction of Excise Minister Kavasi Lakhma, strict action is being taken on illegal sale, storage and transportation of liquor in the state. In this episode, Secretary cum Excise Commissioner Shri Niranjan Das and Managing Director Shri A. Mr. Tripathi’s director and collector Raipur Mr. Dr. S. Bharidasan and Deputy Commissioner, Excise District Raipur, under the guidance of Mr. Arvind Patle, on January 20, during the road checking at Village Bhumia Police Station Tilda, in the Desire car CG 12 AN 9211 coming from Bilaspur, accused Abhiwas Sing Thakur, resident of Simran City Santoshi Nagar Raipur was seized 50 boxes of Goa whiskey Madira for sale in Madhya Pradesh and a total of 450 liters of Madira was collected and taken into consideration by investigating the case of Section 34 (2) of the Excise Act against the accused.

On the spot of the accused, Excise Sub Inspector of State Flying Squad DD Patel, constable Vijay Verma, carrying a helmet in the farm house of accused Anil Verma in village Javra (Andhiar Khol) police station, Nawagarh, 20 boxes Goa for sale in Madhya Pradesh 180 liter Madira and About 860 liters of OP (spirit) filled with 4 plastic drums were seized from the house in the farm house. Standing in front of the house built in the farm house, Swaraj Mazda no. Bah 04 HZ 0834, 50 boxes filled with Madhya Pradesh-made Goa liquor seized Chaukidar Kuleshwar Goswami working in the farm house has been arrested and taken into consideration.
