Raipur 15 January 2021. Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Jai Singh Agrawal inaugurated various new facilities at District Hospital, Korba city. The Revenue Minister gave two units modular operation theater, 10-bed Emergency Trauma Unit, 10-bed modern ICU in Indira Gandhi District Hospital. And inaugurated the eight-bed burn unit. Revenue Minister Shri Jai Singh Aggarwal has enhanced the health facilities in the service of the people of the district by providing state-of-the-art, Operation theater with remote controlled mobile sensors started in the district hospital. During this, the Revenue Minister said that with the introduction of all these facilities in the district, better facilities from private hospitals have become available from today. He said that the state government is continuously increasing the health facilities of the people. Mohalla clinics will also be started, which is undergoing trials. He said that in consultation with everyone from the District Mineral Trust item, the amount is spent in public service. The DMF item is being used more and more in the medical and health sectors. Revenue Minister Jai Singh Aggarwal congratulated all the residents of the district and said that the health facilities which had to go to big cities and spend lakhs of rupees are now available in the district hospital. For the convenience of patients in need of dialysis, a center with five dialysis machines is also available free of cost to the residents. Operation theaters equipped with modern facilities have been started. It took time for the first five-seven hours of the burn patients to be taken to Raipur in the accident. Due to the delay in time, there was difficulty in saving the life of the patient. Now through the burn unit set up in the district hospital, such patients will be able to get immediate treatment which will save the life of the patient. He said that to increase the medical stock in the district, more than 100 doctors, nurses, Paramedical staff will be recruited so that people will get better facilities. He requested all the medical stock and said that it is your duty and moral responsibility to serve patients sincerely while working in the field of medicine. You people have been given this responsibility for service, so I would like you to work better. Revenue Minister Agrawal said that the officials have been directed to implement the announcement of development works of the district made by the Honorable Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel Ji at a rapid pace. He said that the work which has not been done in the last 20 years has been done in the last two years. There will be even better things to do in the coming three years. The minister in charge, Mr. Tekam, the mayor, the chairman, the collector and the officers and employees of the district are engaged in completing the development works. Schools are improving the schools in the district by renovating toilet, boundary walls, roofs. Sports facilities are also being provided to children.

Collector Kiran Kaushal of Korba said that the award has already been received for the rejuvenation of the health facilities available in the district hospital. Oxygen supply, room temperature, humidity and necessary information about the patient’s body will continue to be displayed in the panel. A modern 10-bed Emergency Trauma Unit has been set up to provide immediate treatment to the youth injured in the accident.
