Industry Minister Shri Kavasi Lakhma Bariha participated in the program of tribal society

 The state’s industries minister and the minister in charge of Mahasamund district, Mr. Kavasi Lakhma, attended a program organized by the Bariha Adivasi Samaj at Village Pujaripali in Mahasamund district today. On this occasion, he inaugurated the Vindhyavasini temple. 

Addressing the program, Mr. Lakhma said that the Gods and Goddesses of tribal society have unwavering faith. Tribal society cherishes nature in its culture and traditions. Rituals such as sowing, harvesting and marriage based on nature also celebrate as a celebration. We have been connected with nature’s lap, river, mountain and forest for thousands of years. To understand the tribal society one has to understand their way of living, dialect tradition and culture. To change the world is not the need of intelligence but of the natural, then only the tribal society will be saved. 

Minister Lakhma said that Shishupala mountain is a picturesque place. The festival is celebrated here every year on the festival of Makar Sankranti. Makar Sankranti is a festival which is celebrated with full faith by different sections of people in many states of India. On the demand of declaring Shishupala mountain as a tourist destination, he said that every effort will be made to declare the tourism area. 

Industries Minister Shri Lakhma said that the state government has also declared a government holiday on the festival of various festivals. He greeted and congratulated all the people on New Year and Makar Sankranti and gave information about other schemes including Suraji Village Scheme, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana, Godhan Nyaya Yojana and appealed to the public to take advantage of it. 
On this occasion Saraipali MLA Shri Kismat Lal Nand and Chairman Chhattisgarh State Forest Development Corporation and MLA Basna Shri Devendra Bahadur Singh, President of District Panchayat Mahasamund Mrs. Usha Patel, Municipal President Saraipali Shri Amrit Patel, public representatives and officials and people of the society were present.
