The Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, handed over the development and construction works costing Rs 328 crore to the district dwellers during their stay in Bijapur, including the Bhumipujan of 72 works costing Rs 241 crore 75 lakh and 54 works costing Rs 86 crore 74 lakh. .
On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel inaugurated the Swami Atmanand English Medium School in Bijapur and visited the Loha Dongri Park and Urban Gowthan Bijapur including Mahadev Talab. The works to be performed include the construction of a high-level bridge in the Indravati river on the Bedre-Lanka route at a cost of Rs 37 crore 92 lakh to connect the villages of remote Abujhmad Ilake and a bridge over the Mari river on the Pinconda Talanar road at a cost of Rs 11 crore. The Chief Minister constructed Koenar-Armanar to Toynar road, Tiklare to Reddy cement concrete road at a cost of 5 crore 96 lakhs, 15 rural roads at a cost of Rs 34 crore 13 lakh, Bhopalpatnam-Tarlaguda at a cost of Rs 37 crore 9 lakh. Asphaltized road construction work, Gudsakal stopdem construction at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 75 lakh, Modakpal anicut construction at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 64 lakh.
During this period, under the Manjara-Tola Electrification Scheme, free electricity connection was provided to 3859 families by electrifying them in 160 habitations in 72 villages at a cost of Rs 15 crore 96 lakh, owner of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Bijapur at a cost of Rs 1 crore 6 lakh.
