Raipur: Minister Smt. Bhendia handed over various development works to villagers of Kumharkhan and Taraud

Raipur, 08 January 2021. Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia on Friday inaugurated new village panchayat building, new community building, new community animal shelter site and new community building in village Taraud of Balod development in village Kumharkhan of Gurur development block of Balod district. Handed over development works to villagers. MLA from Sanjari-Baloda  assembly constituency Smt Sangeeta Sinha was present on the occasion.
On the occasion of the inauguration program, Minister Smt. Bhendia congratulated the villagers and said that many schemes are being run by the state government for the development of villages. To provide clean drinking water to villages, tap water scheme is being done on priority, through which clean drinking water will be made available in every village. Minister Smt. Bhendia said various public welfare schemes of the government, Chief Minister Haat Bazar Clinic Scheme, Suraji Gram Yojana, Informed villagers about Godan Nyaya Yojana and motivated them to take maximum benefits. Smt. Bhendia said that under the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the Chief Minister’s Suraksha Yojana started to make Chhattisgarh malnutrition free has reduced the malnutrition rate in the state as well as the situation of anemic women is improving. Appeal to women to become financially strong and self-supporting by joining self-help groups and working continuously through various schemes. Zilla Panchayat member Smt Meena Sahu, public representatives, district level officers and villagers were present on the occasion.
