Checks of material and grant money distributed to 1051 beneficiaries under various welfare schemes
Raipur 05 January 2021. The Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development works worth more than Rs. 1083 crore at the Kisan Sammelan held at the high school ground in Janjgir today. Of these, he dedicated 419 works worth Rs 292.10 crore and performed land-worship of 836 works worth Rs 820.93 crore. Shri Baghel distributed checks of material and grant to 1051 beneficiaries under various schemes of Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Labor Department, Livestock Development Department, Social Welfare Department.
On this occasion, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Charan Das Mahant, Minister of Panchayats and Rural Development Mr. TS Singh Dev, MP Mrs. Jyotsna Mahant, MLA Mr. Ram Kumar Yadav, Mrs. Indu Banjare and Mr. Keshav Chandra, Chairperson of District Panchayat Janjgir-Champa Distinguished citizens were present including Mrs. Ravi Pandey, Mr. Choleshwar Chandrakar, Ms. Manju Singh, former MLA Mr. Motilal Devagan, Collector Mr. Yashwant Kumar, SP Mrs. Parul Mathur, including Mrs. Yanita Chandra Ravishekhar Bhardwaj.
Among the works which the Chief Minister inaugurated in Kisan Sammelan include 18 works of Rs.13.855 crores of Rural Engineering Services Department, one work costing Rs. 1.62 crores by Tribal Development Department, 26 works of Rs. 12.431 crores under Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojana, School Education Department. 2. Works worth Rs. 2.9 crore, Ayurveda Department costing Rs. 27 lakh, four works of Home Building Board of Rs. 5.15 crore, 24 works of Rs. 200 crore of Public Works Department, 08 works of Rs. 3.26 crore of Health Department and Panchayat And the Rural Development Department has 334 works worth Rs 22.51 crore.
Similarly, among the construction works that were laid today, 228 works worth Rs 31 crore 49 lakh were made by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, 68 works worth Rs 514.15 crore were made by the Public Works Department, 04 works worth Rs 19.235 crore by the Water Resources Department, School Education. 03 works of 1.21 crore rupees of the department, 12 works of 15.56 crore rupees of Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojana are included. Similarly, 132 works worth Rs 7.125 crore of CREDA, 370 works of Public Health Engineering Department costing Rs 139.420 crore, 16 works of Rs 89.045 crore of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and 03 works costing Rs 3.710 crore of Rural Engineering Services Division.
