Potia and Pahra villagers in  Durg district got gift of development work

Raipur, 25 December 2020. Public Health Engineering and Village Industries Minister Guru Rudra Kumar today handed over development works to the residents of Potia and Pahra in Durg district. Minister Guru Rudrakumar inaugurated the new Jaitkham in village Pahra and congratulated the villagers on the Baba Guru Ghasidas Jayanti. On this occasion, he duly worshiped Jaitkham and announced the construction of Western Pachari and CC Road at Dhobin Ghat and Sheetla Mata Talab on the demand of the villagers.

 

Public Health Engineering and Village Industries Minister also participated in the local program organized in village Potiya as part of their scheduled tour program. On this occasion, Minister Guru Rudrakumar said that overall development is the top priority of the state government. We are standing by the people who have expressed their faith in the government. On this occasion, Minister Guru Rudrakumar inaugurated a new community building costing Rs 6.50 lakh, new fair price shop costing Rs 10 lakh and Kalamanch at a cost of Rs 3 lakh at Sahu Para in village Potiya. On the demand of the Potia villagers, they constructed sheds in Muktidham, road construction from Potia to Deorajhal under Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojana, pond beautification work from DMF fund, community building for Satnami society, installation of hand pumps in ward number 10 and water augmentation scheme. Under the scheme, every house has to provide water from tap.

 

Minister Guru Rudrakumar also distributed vermicompost compost prepared by the women self-help group at Gauthan in Potiya under the ambitious scheme Narva Garwa Ghurwa Bari of the state government. During the program, Ahivara Municipality President Shri Natwar Tamarkar congratulated the minister Guru Rudrakumar on completion of 2 years of government formation. In his address, he thanked Minister Guru Rudra Kumar for opening the English medium school in Municipal Corporation Ahiwara. A large number of villagers were present on this occasion including President of Dhamdha Janpad Panchayat, Mrs. Saraswati Ratre, District Panchayat Member Mrs. Chandrakala Manhar, Mr. Bhupendra Sahu, Chairman Dhamadha Janpad Panchayat, Mr. Hiralal Verma, Mr. Vinay Trivedi.
