Raipur, 20 December 2020. The Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, has paid homage to the freedom fighter fighter, late Thakur Pyarelal Singh on 21 December. Mr. Baghel has said that Thakur Saheb not only served the poor but also fought for his rights throughout his life. Thakur Pyarelal Singh is known as the pioneer of the cooperative movement in Chhattisgarh. He has been associated with freedom movements since his student life. He raised his voice in protest against atrocities and injustice and gave organized direction to public dissatisfaction. The mill workers in Rajnandgaon were organized and provided them with skilled leadership. In Chhattisgarh, credit goes to Thakur saheb for organizing students in organized mobilization. He also did many things for public awareness. Shri Baghel said that Thakur Saheb will always be remembered for his invaluable contribution in the history of Chhattisgarh.
