Murari Lal Mittal, a resident of village Piparada of Akaltara, the development block of the district, constructed a pond in his own land with the help of the scheme of fisheries department and started a fisheries business. This business earned him about three lakh rupees in a year.
Assistant Director of Fisheries Department Shri SS Kanwar informed that fisheries business was started last year by Mr. Murari Lal by constructing a pond on his own land. Earlier, he used to do seasonal paddy cultivation on his land to nurture his family. Due to this, they could not meet the needs of their family.

Under the scheme , the pond was constructed in 1.400 hectares of water area on its own land under its own pond construction scheme . Due to the untiring efforts and hard work of Shri Mittal, about 2 tonnes of fish were produced and sold in the current year . Due to which he got an income of about 3 lakh rupees. Shri Murari Lal Mittal said that he could not get enough income in paddy cultivation so that he could arrange basic facilities for himself and his family. They are earning enough from farming. After adopting this occupation, his standard of living has improved considerably and his family has a happy atmosphere.
