Raipur: Road show organized on domestic tourism under ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ campaign

Raipur. 18 December 2020. Union Tourism and Culture Minister of State (Independent Charge) Shri Prahlad Patel today ” India offers India ” was inaugurated under held on domestic tourism in New Raipur Road-show. State Tourism Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu also attended the program. The road show was organized by Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Mumbai Regional Office of Gujarat Tourism and Union Ministry of Tourism.

Addressing the program, Union Minister of State for Tourism Prahlada Patel said that all the precautions are being taken in the direction of advancing tourism, taking all precautions during the Corona era. He said that ASI A list of all such monuments across the country is being prepared which is neither included in the state list nor in the list of the center. He appreciated the Ram Van Gaman tourism circuit being developed by the Chhattisgarh government and said that he has come to Bastar many times. Tourist places here are very attractive.

Chhattisgarh Tourism Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu said in the road show that such an event makes people aware of art , culture and tradition of different states . Tourism industry will gain momentum due to its organization in the state. He said that if there is Harappa in Gujarat, then Chhattisgarh has Ram Van Gaman Path according to ancient tradition and belief. Giving information about the construction of Ram Van Gaman tourism circuit, Mr. Sahu hoped that Chhattisgarh will be recognized globally by its construction.

Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Smt. Ranu Sahu informed the tour operators and travel agents involved in the program about the possibilities of tourism in the state through the presentation of power points. Many information related to the tourism industry of Chhattisgarh and Gujarat were also shared during this period. Suggestions were also taken from tour operators and travel agents of both states to improve the tourism industry. Mr. P. Anbalagan, Secretary, Department of Tourism and Mr. D. Venkatesan, Director, Mumbai Regional Office, Ministry of Tourism, also attended the program. It is noteworthy that ” India offers India ” is being promoted mutual relations and tourism between the people of various states and Union Territories through the campaign. It is also becoming a good medium for propagation of each other’s cultures.
