Talked to students, observation of library and lab
Raipur, 16 December 2020. School Education Minister Dr. Premasay Tekam today inspected Swami Atmanand Government English Medium School established in Korba Municipal Corporation Area Ward No. 14 Pump House Colony. He inquired about the buildings, laboratories, library and other facilities built for classrooms in the school premises from the Collector Mrs. Kiran Kaushal.
District in-charge Minister Dr. Tekam inspected the primary and middle section of the campus during this period and praised the facilities developed in the school and the best preparations with a positive atmosphere conducive to studies. Dr. Tekam also visited the school’s digital class room, computer lab, physics, chemistry, biology lab including library and sports room and visited the facilities available there. The Minister of School Education also observed the way of teaching and teaching of children in the digital class room and also spoke to the children. Dr. Tekam also took a photo sitting among the children and asked them to study carefully. He also planted trees in the campus.
It is noteworthy that three Swami Aatmanand English Medium Schools have been started in Korba district, Palba and Hardibazar in Korba district. The library at the English Middle School at Pamphouse has seating for 36 students at one time. This library has more than 1300 books. Along with the subjects for children to read, children’s stories as well as educational books like competitive exams, general knowledge, biographies of legends etc. are also available in this library. The school also has a robotic lab. Where there is a system to teach micro-processor, logic, coding of 16 students at a time. The school’s computer lab can accommodate up to 24 students. The language lab has a system of teaching for 40 students through 20 tabs simultaneously. Physical lab, In the Bio and Chemistry Lab, 16-16 students, there is a separate practice for 48 students. The school also has math lab, smart class, modular furniture to seat students. In this school of English medium, teaching and assessment work has been arranged according to the new education system. Online classes are being taken by teachers from 07 September 2020.
On this occasion, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Shri Rajkishore Prasad, Vice President of Central Region Tribal Development Authority Mr. Purushottam Kanwar, MLA from Pali-Tanakhar, Mr. Mohit Kerketta, Chairman of Municipal Corporation Mr. Shyam Sundar Soni and other public representatives and officials of the district were present.
