Raipur, 13 December 2020. The Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, today handed over the development works worth Rs. 247 crore 61 lakh to the district in a program organized at the High School Ground of District Headquarters Balrampur during the stay in Balrampur-Ramanujganj district. Mr. Baghel inaugurated 29 construction works costing Rs 87 crore 32 lakh and laid foundation stones for 66 works costing Rs 160 crore 29 lakh.

On this occasion, the Minister in charge of Panchayat and Rural Development, Public Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education Shri TS Singhdeo, Higher Education and Technical Education, Skill Development and Manpower Planning, Science and Technology and Sports and Youth Welfare and District Umesh Patel, Tribal Welfare, School Education and Cooperation Minister Dr. Premasay Singh Tekam, Food and Civil Supplies, Economic Statistics and Culture Minister Mr. Amarjit Bhagat, Parliamentary Secretary and MLA Mr. Chintamani Maharaj, Vice President of Sarguja Development Authority and Ramanujganj MLA Mr. Brospat Singh, Commissioner of Sarguja Division, Ms. Geneviva Kindo, Inspector General of Police Mr. Ratanlal Dangi, Collector Mr. Shyam Dhawade, Superintendent of Police Mr. Ramakrishna Sahu, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Mr. Harish S. was present.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel while addressing the gathering present at the High School Grounds of District Headquarters Balrampur said that the State Government is committed to work in the public interest. The government’s plans are being made keeping in mind the interests of all sections of people including village, poor, farmers, elderly women. He said that the unit of development is individual, each person has to benefit from the scheme. Excellent works are being done in the state through MNREGA, people got employment even during the Corona period. Chhattisgarh ranks first in the aspirational district in the entire country. The benefits of the Haat-Bazar Clinic Scheme and Urban Health Slum Scheme are now easily available to the needy. During the Corona period, the state government has distributed free ration of three months to everyone’s homes.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that with the opening of English medium school, now the children of lower income group and poor will also get good education on the lines of private schools and will be able to participate in a big competition. In the next one year, English medium schools will be opened in all the development blocks of the state, which will benefit the people of all areas. He said that Chhattisgarh is the only state in the country where cow dung is being procured under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. The use of cow dung to make vermi compost and use it in the fields will increase the fertility of the land as well as increase the production and will be environment friendly.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel inspected the stalls of Urban and Rural Livelihoods Mission, Agriculture, Gardens, Fish, Food, Women and Child Development, Health Department, Education Department and other departments in the synagogue. During this, he made an ALS for the district hospital. One BLS each for Ambulance and Community Health Center Kusmi, Ramanujganj and 100 bedded hospital Vadrafnagar. The ambulance was flagged off.
