A review of the preparations for the closing ceremony of the tourism rath yatra and bike rally

Instructions for the exhibition of selected nine places in the first phase and planting sapling of Rudraksha under Ram Van Gaman Path Development

Raipur, 9 December 2020. Tourism Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu visited the development and beautification works of Mata Kaushalya Temple at village Chandkuri in Raipur district today. Secretary of Tourism Department, Mr. Albalagan P. informed the Minister Mr. Sahu about the detailed work plan along with the design-map of the works being done in Chandkuri under the Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit Project. The Tourism Minister said that this temple of Kaushalya Mata is the only temple in India. Paying special attention to its beautification, complete the beautification work within the prescribed time limit.
It is noteworthy that under the project, the work of beautification and campus development of the temple at Chandkuri is to be completed in two phases. 6 crore 70 lakhs will be spent in the first phase, while 9 crore 8 lakh rupees will be spent in the second phase. According to the plan, Chandkuri is to be developed as a tourist-pilgrimage, Therefore, along with the beautification of the ancient Kaushalya Mata temple located there, civil facilities are also being developed. While beautifying the tank, the temple-island located in the middle of it is being made more attractive and well-organized. The architecture of the entire complex has been designed to suit Chandkhuri’s connection to mythology. A new design bridge is being constructed in the pond to reach the pond temple. Ghats and circumambulation paths are being constructed in the pond. Parking facility for visitors’ vehicles is also being developed. The entire complex will also have attractive electrical decoration.
Tourism Minister Mr. Sahu took stock of the preparations for the Tourism Rath Yatra and the closing ceremony of Baik Rale, which began on December 14, and culminated at Chandkuri on December 17, to mark the completion of the two-year tenure of the state government. He was the Collector of Raipur District, Dr. S. Bhartidasan and Senior Superintendent of Police Shri Ajay Kumar Yadav were instructed to finalize the preparations after taking a meeting of the temple committee. Minister Shri Sahu has exhibited all nine selected sites – Sitamarhi-Harchauka, Ramgarh Shivrinarayan, Turturia, Chandkuri, Rajim, Sihawa-Saptarishi Ashram, Jagdalpur and Ramaram in the first phase of the Ram Van Gaman Path, as an exhibition and nine as a memorial. Instructed to ensure the system of planting Rudraksha. The closing ceremony will be held at the fair ground in the temple premises. Instructions were given to the district administration to ensure all necessary arrangements, including cleanliness, parking.
It is noteworthy that extensive preparations are being made to organize Ram Van Gaman Path tourism Rath Yatra and Virat Bike Rally. This rally is being organized from 14 to 17 December. This journey lasting 4 days will cover a distance of 1575 kilometers. The rally will pass through 19 districts. The rally will begin on December 14 from the two ends of the state, Sitamarhi-Harchauka in North Korea’s Korea district and Ramaram in Sukma district in the south respectively, and the two halves of the rally will be held in Chandkuri, Mata Kaushalya’s city on 17 December.
