Jashpurnagar 07 December 2020. The farmers of remote Vananchal are being strengthened financially by connecting them with Narva , Garuva , Ghuaruwa Bari scheme by the Chhattisgarh government . In this series, the farmer Telesphore of village Bataikela of Kansabel development block, is taking advantage of the plan of the Horticulture Department and the Narva , Garuva , Ghuruwa Bari scheme , to produce greens , gourd , taroi okra in his garden. They are earning a good income from this. In connection with Badi development, he has planted vegetables in his garden in 0.250 acre under the scheme of District Mineral Trust Fund and vegetable mini insect by the Horticulture Department ,Seeds are also provided. He informed that good production of vegetables is being done through modern technology under the guidance of the officers of the Horticulture Department. There is also well facility for irrigation in Bari. Bari in the L season gives them 2 quintals of vegetable production, which gives them good income by selling in the local market. He said that out of the total vegetable production, 50 kilograms have been used for family use and by selling the remaining 1.5 quintals of vegetables in the local market, he got financial benefit.
Farmer Telesphore thanked the Chhattisgarh government and the district administration, saying that Narva , Garuva , Ghuruva ,Bari scheme is a welfare scheme for the farmers, as well as by preserving the garden and taking advantage of the scheme of the government, they are producing vegetables with advanced technology.
