Raipur: Children are overwhelmed listening to English, Chief Minister: Inspection of Atmanand Government Excellent School in Jashpur

Raipur 04 December 2020 The Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel inspected Atmanand Government Excellent English Medium School located at Dipatoli here during his stay in Jashpur today. Students of fourth and second grade of the school welcomed the Chief Minister with welcome song and thanked for the establishment of English medium school. The children presented information about the historical and archaeological heritage and tourist place of Jashpur in a very easy way through mutual communication. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel was overwhelmed by hearing the fluency in English from the children of primary class. He praised the children and said to brighten the name of Jashpur after studying a lot.

 

The Chief Minister inspected various classrooms including the laboratory, staff room of the school and reviewed the arrangements. He took information from the Principal of the school, Mrs. Saroj Sangeeta Bhoi, regarding the recruitment of teachers and online classes. He said that schools will not open due to Kovid-19 right now, but continue the online class continuously. During this, the Chief Minister met the newly appointed teachers and wished them well and said that active participation of AAP people is necessary in fulfilling the purpose for which this school has been established.
It is worth mentioning that a government new English Medium School has been constructed at a cost of about Rs. 1 crore 17 lakh. English and Hindi medium classes will be conducted here from class one to class 12th. A total of 948 children, including 463 in English and 448 in Hindi have been admitted to the school. Teachers have been appointed for teaching children in the school. The school has a well-equipped modern laboratory and library of IIT, NIT, JEE exam preparation, computer education, IT education, chemistry, physical, biology, and computer for the convenience of children.
During this period, the District Food and Civil Supplies and Minister in-charge of the district, Mr. Amarjit Bhagat, Higher Education Minister Mr. Umesh Patel, Parliamentary Secretary and Kunkuri MLA Mr. UD Minj, Lelunga MLA Mr. Chakradhar Singh Sidar, Chairman of Central Region Adivasi Development Authority and Dharamjigarh MLA Shri Laljit Singh Rathia, Raigarh MLA Mr. Prakash Naik, Jashpur MLA Mr. Vinay Bhagat and other public representatives were present.
