Raipur 24 November 2020. Sarpanch of village Palaud under Tarung Sahu of Raipur district, Smt. Tarini Sahu keeps a close watch on the development works being done in her village. The sarpanch had a complaint with the technical assistant of the village about the quality and timely evaluation of the construction work being done in the village and not demanding money in lieu of the assessment. When he spoke to some officials in this regard, no one took his complaint seriously. Angry at this, the sarpanch approached the MLA and the cabinet minister of the area, Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, by the engineer asking for money, Complaints of delay in payment of wages to laborers due to delay in evaluation of works. After a complaint to the minister in the morning, the sarpanch did not even think that action would be taken on his complaint within an hour. In the afternoon, the minister reached Dr. Dahariya Palaud village and ordered to remove the technical assistant from the village and replace him with a new technical assistant in the hands of the sarpanch. During this, he told the sarpanch that if quality works are not done in any development work, then he must complain. The complaint should be true and factual so that suspension proceedings can be taken instead of removing anyone. The sarpanch was not at first convinced of the swift action taken by the minister on his complaint, but as soon as he read the order, he was not happy.
Actually this is the case of village Palod in Raipur district. Like other areas, here also, Minister Dr. Dahria has approved lakhs of rupees for various development works. Work is being done under the supervision of Sarpanch. The Sarpanch in his complaint had demanded the removal of the said engineer from the village and the posting of the others, complaining about the pending payment of laborers in case the engineer demanded money for the work and did not evaluate the works on time. The villagers along with the sarpanch of Palaud also expressed happiness over this action of Minister Dr. Dahria. In this case, Kajal Shriwas has been given the responsibility of replacing technical assistant Kumari Shakuntala Bindia.

A few days later, from December 1, the platform will be used in the purchase of paddy through the Cooperative Services Society. Before purchasing paddy, you have to come to the village to inaugurate this platform and lay the foundation stone of new work. Please give time During this time, Minister Dr. Dahria smiled and said that it is better to come to the village for the inauguration to increase the expenses repeatedly that I will inaugurate and lay foundation stones today. Due to such a sudden decision of the Minister, the rural people’s representatives, including the sarpanch, are uncomfortable. There was a shortage of other materials including quince and no necessary preparation. Dr. Dahria assures everyone that there is nothing. From his vehicle, he ordered a bottle of water and quince from the shop nearby. Village sarpanch, Mandi platform was inaugurated by inviting district panchayat members, district members and other public representatives including villagers and villagers on the spot. During this time, he said that it must be used in purchasing paddy.
