Customers without wearing masks will not get the goods in
the battle of Corona with merchant district administration
Balodabazar, 23 November 2020. Collector Mr. Sunil Kumar Jain discussed the corona with the officials of the Chamber of Commerce sitting in all district headquarters through video conferencing. He apprised the traders of cooperation to keep the corona under control in the district and keep it under control. On the appeal of the Collector, the office bearers of the Chamber of Commerce have decided not to sell the goods to the customers without masks. He said that all the traders of the district are with the district administration in the battle of Corona. They themselves will follow the Kovid protocol including masks and have customers follow them as well. Additional Collector Shri Rajendra Gupta and CMHO Dr. Sonwani were also present on the occasion.
Collector Shri Jain said that the threat of corona has not been averted. Rather, due to the movement and cold of festivals, its danger has increased. By checking the corona and using social distance and masks regularly, we can avoid the spread of its infection. The collector said that timely investigation of corona is necessary. There is a higher probability of death if there is more delay. More deaths have occurred in cities than in villages in the district. Out of total 104 cases, one-third of deaths have been reported from urban areas. He said that the best treatment for corona is to identify it on time. If the identification is delayed or missed, then in a week it will spread the corona on a wide scale. Sharing the experience so far, he said that this disease is killing not only the elderly but also children and young people. No man should live in a shaming that he is young, It will happen to him. The collector said that after Corona’s positive arrival, it is not necessary to get admitted in hospital. He will also be treated at home if there is facility.
The collector reiterated the corona-related social practices such as a six-foot distance, masks when exiting the house, and repeated hand washing and the use of sanitizers. He said that the government has given a lot of explanation. Now is the time to take strict action on the violation. Dr. Khemraj Sonwani, Chief Medical and Health Officer, gave the symptoms of Kovid. He said that fever, cold, cough, loss of taste and loss of sense of smell are the main symptoms. The CMHO said that there is no need to panic in the event of an infection. The government has arranged its treatment for free. The most serious patient is treated. About 50 such patients have recovered and gone home. The Collector also became aware of his other problems during the discussion with the traders and assured them of their solution.
