Raipur, 10 November 2020. Chief Minister  Bhupesh Baghel has said that the government is fully committed for the betterment of farmers. The installments under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana were given at a time when farmers needed money for agricultural farming work. This has increased the support of farmers. Our farmers are big-hearted, donated free hand at the time of Corona. Farmers are always ahead on every front. Governance must constantly work towards empowering them.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was addressing a public relations program held at Patan in Durg district today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also announced the construction of a commercial campus at Patan’s bus stand campus at a cost of one crore rupees, repair of schools at a cost of five crore rupees and renovation of Anganwadis at a cost of seven crore rupees. He also announced to increase the facility of sports enthusiasts in Patan at the cost of 25 lakh rupees, open badminton court, cricket pitch and volleyball court. He said that rooms in the district office will also be expanded. On this occasion, he also performed Bhoomipujan of the new building of the SDM office. There will also be renovation of SDM office and Tehsil office.
Chief Minister  Baghel also inaugurated Swami Atmanand Udyan. He said that many good works are constantly being done to develop civic amenities in Patan. The ponds are being beautified. The gardens are being improved. On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the government is focusing exclusively on promoting irrigation facilities. If irrigation facility is provided and marketing arrangements are made for the farmers then it is the most important task for the farmers. He said that in the meeting of the Energy Department in the past, he directed that the power cables should be extended along the banks of rivers and streams. This will enable the farmers to take advantage of lift irrigation. He said that the irony is that farmers along the banks of rivers and streams face more water scarcity for irrigation. On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated and inaugurated many construction works.
The Chief Minister said that before going to any event, cashew raisins were served to the guests. Now local Chhattisgarhi items are kept. Tikhur-Singhara, which is our favorite material, was never kept in such an event. Now we have Tikhur-Singhara. It is a symbol of Chhattisgarhi identity and dignity. We have kept our values ​​at the center. This is our identity, our Teej festival and our tradition.
The Chief Minister informed that a policy has been prepared for the sale of minor forest produce. It benefited and during the lockdown, Chhattisgarh has the highest forest produce in the whole country and its rate is also good. Here Jaipur businessmen used to carry cashew nuts at the rate of 50 rupees from cashew growers. Through the society, instant rate of hundred rupees was provided in which more amount was received in future. Five thousand quintals of cashew nuts sold. What a huge economic possibility open to the people.
