Five crore rupees approved for building shed in Gothan  

 Raipur, 07 November 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached village Selud in Patan block today. The Chief Minister said in the program organized here that rural development is the top priority of the government. Only the progress and prosperity of the farmers can bring prosperity in the society. Several innovative schemes have been launched by the state government in the interest of farmers. Due to which they are getting direct benefits. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced the construction of a mini stadium at Selud at a cost of Rs 8 crore and the opening of English Medium School there. The Chief Minister also approved Rs 5 crore for the construction of sheds for conducting the economic activities of women in Gothanas and the establishment of open gym at 25 places in the area. He sanctioned Rs 9 crore 88 lakh for development and construction works in village panchayats in Patan area.
    The Chief Minister said that due to Corona, there was a possibility of rapid development of rural development, but the government took such decisions that least affected the economic activities in the state of Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh State started the work of providing employment to the needy people under MNREGA and helped people by operating it on a large scale. With this, the economic condition of the people remained unaffected along with rural development. During the Corona period, an average of 26 lakh people were employed daily in the state.
    The Chief Minister further said that with the purchase of minor forest produce in Vananchal, people have got reasonable price for minor forest produce. Livestock farmers have started benefiting from the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. This has brought awareness regarding the maintenance of livestock. Now cow dung is a precious commodity. This makes people prefer to keep animals in the cell for more and more time. Paharia is also very aware of this because the importance of cow dung has increased considerably through the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. The Chief Minister said that water recharge works are being promoted through Narva scheme. Bilaspur and Surajpur have also been awarded by the Central Government for this work. He said that Gauthan has to be developed as a livelihood center. Sheds have been approved to make it easier for women to work here. This time, women have significant participation in the Diwali market. They are also being encouraged to manufacture other products.
    We ensured that people do not have any kind of trouble during the Corona period. Gave three months ration for free. Mid-day meals were sent to the children’s homes. Along with this, the children of Anganwadi were also supplied in their homes. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also heard the problems of the area from the public representatives and the public representatives demanded new construction works and other facilities from them. On this, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to take action in the above relation on the spot.
