Expressed gratitude for concessions given to real estate sector during lockdown
Raipur, 13 October 2020. A delegation of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association (CREDAI) met the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel here today. He thanked the Chief Minister for the concessions given to the real estate sector during the lockdown. Industries Minister Mr. Kavasi Lakhma was also present on the occasion.
Credai officials said that the situation in real estate sector in Chhattisgarh is much better as compared to other states. The state government had given a discount of 30 percent in the rates of government guide line for sale, purchase and sale of land in the state. Similarly, exemption in stom duty was also given. The real estate sector benefited from this. The state government had developed a single-window system ‘CGAwas’ to speed up and facilitate the approval of residential colonies. In this system all permission for residential colonies is given within 100 days. This is also getting permission for the colonies soon.
During the discussion with the Chief Minister, the officials of the association said that if the registration fee in the state is reduced for one year, then this sector can get a good incentive. While requesting exemption in stom fee, the officials said that in many states the stom fee has been reduced. The delegation of the association gave the E.W.S. Urged to allow buildings for the class to be built on the vacant land like Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister assured to consider the demands of the Association. On this occasion, Shri Anand Singhania of CREDAI, P.L. Several officials including Singh, Rakesh Chandrakar, Sandeep Kedia, Vijay Nthani were present.
