Raipur, 12 October 2020. Continuous monitoring is being done by the forest department in the state for prevention of forest crimes and strict action is being taken against the accused. In this context, under the direction of the Forest Officer, Mr. Kumar Nishant, under the forest division Bilaspur, the crackdown continues. Of these, on 12 October, where the houses being built after encroachment on the forest land were removed, On the same day, on October 11, under the Sipat Circle, in Bishrampur village, a carpenter’s house worth more than 50 thousand rupees, the extinct species Bija wood ball and illegal chiran was seized. Along with this, action was taken to seize illegal chiran of wet wood of banned fruit species by raiding the Ara Mill Gupta Sa Mill in village Gudigaon of Sipat Circle. Today, on 12 October, action was taken to remove the house being built after encroachment by Shri Rameshwar Shriwas in Semaria Beat of Kota Region. In this, court challan action is being taken against the accused.
