Governor joins the 6th International Parliament of Science, Religion and Philosophy organized online by MIT University Pune.

Raipur, 02 October 2020.  The culture of Chhattisgarh is also very rich, which is reflected in the traditional folk songs and folk dance. Manikanchan Yoga of religion, philosophy and spirituality is reflected in all cultural activities here. The folk dance and tribal dance here is famous all over the world. If you notice, you will find religion, philosophy and spirituality rooted in folk singing and folk dances, which aims to establish peace in society. When I took the post of Chhattisgarh Governor and after that met people and went to the programs, you would not believe that there is so much sweetness in the songs and music here, there is a feeling, which touches your heart when you listen. In this way, I have found the expressions of the songs and the style, ease and simplicity of the songs in the people of the state. This was stated by Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike today on the occasion of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, organized online by MIT University Pune,
The governor said that both spirituality and science are connected with the core of creation. Both work to connect the outer world and the conscience. Spirituality connects us with the mind and science tells us what effect the outer world has on our mind and body. Both spirituality and science search for truth, connect us with nature, connect us with humanity and both aim to improve our lives. Both spirituality and science work for the welfare of society, if scientific discoveries are needed to keep the body healthy, then it is necessary to follow the laws of spirituality to make the mind healthy and beautiful. Spirituality and science together create a healthy and beautiful society. Spirituality and science can only complement each other, When spirituality is not associated with superstition and science is not used for destruction. Every discovery made in the public interest by spirituality and science brings them close to each other.
He said that spirituality inspires us to think scientifically and science tells us the secrets of spirituality. Spirituality believes in Vedic scriptures and science is the basis of correct logic and new discoveries. Both speak on solid grounds. Science is the medium to discover the truth of the outer world and a means of knowing and understanding spirituality. Both paths lead us to the path of knowledge and make our lives better. Yes, both ways are definitely different. Science goes through the physical path and spirituality goes the non-spiritual way.
Governor Ms. Uike said that Sant Vinoba Bhave had said that the era of religion and politics has passed, now spiritual and science will take their place. The most important thing in Vinoba ji’s spiritual thinking is the idea of the coordination of spirituality and science. Vinobaji emphasized the coordination of science and spirituality in the scientific era. He said, “Science and enlightenment will remain in the world ahead, politics and religion will end.” Because politics works rather than breaking the man. Swami Vivekananda also did not consider spirituality and science to be opposing each other. His idea was that by combining Western science with Indian Vedanta, happiness and prosperity and peace can be established in the world. Science has freed human life from many pains and has contributed in providing other facilities of life. But in the absence of Vedanta, this science can also become destructive.
He said that today we see that there is an atmosphere of turmoil somewhere between different countries in the world and also the shadow of terrorism. If we want to establish peace in the world, then we have to walk on the path of spirituality and the path of spirituality will come out of India itself. Today, we need to follow the path of truth, love, non-violence, brotherhood and mutual support. In fact, peace does not reside in hands or feet, but in the mind. Even after tying the hands and feet of a person, he can think evil from the mind, so the need is to remove the idea of unrest from the mind of the world and to create peace and reverence in it.
The Governor said that I have been told that the world’s largest dome, philosopher Saint Dnyaneshwar World Peace Library and World Peace Prayer Hall have been established by the common body at Vishwa Rajbagh, Loni Kalabhor, Pune, that is commendable.
In this program Dr. Vishwanath Karad, Founder and Chief Patron of MIT, Pune and M.I.T. Executive President of World Peace University, Mr. Rahul Karad also delivered his address. Distinguished citizens were present on the occasion.
