Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will perform Bhoomipujan on October 2 at Mahatma Gandhi Horticulture and Forestry University

Durg district will get the gift of development and construction works worth Rs 253 crore

 Raipur, 01 October 2020. On the occasion of Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel Gandhi Jayanti, on October 2, the Durg district will be given a gift of infrastructure for development. The Chief Minister Shri Baghel will perform land laying and inauguration of 39 construction works at Patan-Sankra, Durg and Bhilai at a total cost of Rs 253 crore 61 lakh through video conferencing from his residence office. This mainly includes Bhoomipujan of Mahatma Gandhi Horticulture and Forestry University, Sankra-Patan. This university, to be built at a cost of about 55 crore rupees, will give a boost to horticulture development in the state and new doors of employment and independence will be opened. About 600 graduates, 100 post-graduates and 50 PhD students will get admission in this horticulture university every year. Through this university, qualified and skilled human resources will be available to the state in the field of horticulture and forestry, which will give fruits and vegetables to the state of Chhattisgarh, 

77 crore 28 lakh works will be inaugurated in Patan

Solar Charkha Training Center to be launched in village Selud

 The Chief Minister will inaugurate a total of 44 houses built at a cost of Rs 5 crore 22 lakh for the stay of government officials and employees in the block headquarters along with the Bhoomipujan of Mahatma Gandhi University in Sankra-Patan. Along with this, Bhumi Pujan will be done for the construction of a high-level bridge at Uphra to Raveli road in Kharun River at a cost of Rs 8 crore 35 lakh and for the construction of a high-level bridge for Rs 8 crore 17 lakh at Khamania Nala in Abhanpur-Tarrighat Patan road in Khamaria Nala. . With the construction of this bridge, more than one lakh population of 50 villages will get perennial traffic. Bhumi Pujan will also be done for the new building of the Zhit branch of the Cooperative Bank, to be built at a cost of about 37 lakhs. Due to which more than 5 thousand farmers purchased paddy in support price besides banking facilities, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Facility will be provided in Godan Nyaya Yojana and Amanat Debt Distribution. Chief Minister Shri Baghel Solar Charkha Training Center will also be inaugurated in village Selud of Patan development block. With this, women from the surrounding villages will be trained in solar spinning wheel. Through which new employment opportunities will also be available.

Inauguration of works worth Rs 138 crore 35 lakh in the fort

 The Chief Minister will inaugurate works worth Rs 138 crore 35 lakh in Durg city. The Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for the development and construction works costing Rs 13 crore 49 lakh to be done for the beautification of the fort. The water level of the city will rise due to the deepening of the Thagda dam. At the same time, beautification work will provide recreational places with well developed water body for the people of Bhilai and Risali along with the fort. Consolidation and beautification work of 8 km route from Nehru Chowk to Mini Mata Chowk will be done to reduce traffic pressure and enhance beauty in accordance with civic amenities, it will cost Rs 68 crore 16 lakh. Similarly, there will be Bhoomipujan for the construction of four and a half km four-lane from Pulgaon Naka to Anjora. Its cost will be 56 crore 39 lakhs. 

 Bhoomi Pujan of garden construction at Indira Market Sabzi Mandi in Chief Minister Durg City at a cost of Rs 66.50 lakh, garden at a cost of Rs 29.63 lakh at Potia and Rs 16.54 lakh in front of the filter plant located below the Shea-Over Bridge will do. While building a modern shed in the vegetable market, vegetable vendors and people will get the facility while gardening in Potia will provide facility of morning walk and oxygen. The Chief Minister will also inaugurate the newly constructed training hall cum store room of the Fish Department. This building, built at a cost of about Rs 29.97 lakh, will have the facility of training and storing equipment of 100 fishermen. 

Foundation stone-laying of 28 works worth Rs 37 crore in Bhilai: Gandhi statue will be unveiled

 On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate the statue of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, as well as inaugurate and perform Bhoomi Pujan of 28 works of about Rs 37 crore in Municipal Corporation area Bhilai. Apart from this, Bhoomipujan will be done for the new college building to be built at a cost of Rs. 4 crore 65 lakh in Khursipar Bhilai.
