Raipur September 23, 2020 . Police has succeeded in arresting 5 accused including a child who robbed a gas cylinder truck in Simga National Highway within 12 hours. The accused carried out the incident by putting a duster vehicle in front of the truck on the National Highway. During this time, the driver of the truck was kidnapped and beaten up, while another driver was also assaulted by the accused while trying to stop the incident.
According to the information, on 23 September evening, the applicant Santraj Kumar lodged a report in the police station that on September 22, Bharat Gas Company’s 450 gas cylinder was going to Surajpur, District Surajpur after filling its truck number CG07 BN 3413. Around 3.30 pm, a duster vehicle stopped his truck by overtaking near village Chanderi. Four people in a duster truck took him down from the truck. One of the accused boarded the truck and seated the applicant in his duster vehicle, threatening to kill him with a knife. After this, the truck and the duster vehicle started running fast towards Bilaspur.
Meanwhile, the Duster vehicle crashed from another Tacker vehicle coming from the side near village Kirana (near Sargaon), injuring all the occupants of the vehicle. At the same time, seeing the opportunity, the applicant got down from the car and sat in another gas service car parked near Bhojpuri Toll, from where he told the full information about the incident to those who worked with him, after which the crime in the police station Simga on the report. 307/2020 Sections 341, 363, 392, 34 Bhadvi were registered.
Immediately informing the Superintendent of Police IK Alesela and receiving guidance from them, for the police team led by ASP Nivedita Pal, SDOP Bhatapara KB Dwivedi, Inspector Station In-charge Simga Naresh Chauhan and Sub-Inspector Station In-charge Suhela Roshan Rajput Has been dispatched. The police team immediately reached the spot and searched for the Duster vehicle and the people living nearby.
After this, after finding important clues, the four accused and another accused involved in their criminal conspiracy and other accused, who were struggling with the law, were also arrested, including Naveen Prakash Mishra, Ujjwal Singh, Shivkumar alias Raju, Syed Shahnawaz Ali and a child struggling with the law. A total of 5 accused were arrested. The accused confessed their crime in the interrogation.
