District Magistrate declares wards of all urban bodies in the district as a container zone, in view of prevention and protection from corona infection.
Dhamtari 20 September 2020. Collector and District Magistrate Shri Jai Prakash Maurya have declared all the wards of the urban bodies of the district as a contention zone to prevent infection of Kovid 19. He has issued restrictive orders in containment areas under the guidelines issued by District Disaster Management Act 2005, Epidemic Act 1897 Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Under this, restrictive orders will continue in the container sector from 22 September to 30 September.
According to the information received, all the wards of all the civic bodies in the district have been declared as the Containment Zone, the Gram Panchayat will be free from the restrictions of the Containment Zone. Medical establishments, hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, milk parlors, gas agency petrol pumps will be open in the container area. Health-related medical institutions and petrol pumps 24C7 may remain open. The milk parlor will operate from 06 am to 10 am and the Gains Agency can be open from 10 am to 05 pm. Home gas cylinder delivery services can be performed in this period. Apart from this, home delivery of anything else will be completely banned.
It has been told that all government and semi-government offices located in the Containment area will remain open. The working hours of these institutions will remain the same as per the period of office operations. The office chief will be able to determine the number of employees and the time required. All the tourist centers of the district will be closed, whether they are urban or rural. There will be uninterrupted supply of essential services such as electricity, water, sanitation etc. in the container sector. In addition to the services provided in the concession area, all business and non-business activities, exercise in public places, walking, group gathering etc. will be restricted. Also, activities are prohibited in all parks, community buildings and ponds etc. It has been clearly directed that strict punitive action will be taken if found violating the restrictive order.
