He told that there will be a lockdown in the capital Raipur from 9 am to 28 September on the night of 21 September. During this time all shops will remain closed. Only a few shops will be opened for some time.
Collector told that this time the lockdown will be taken more vigorously than before. Only milk supply, medical shops, petrol pumps will open till the scheduled time. Please tell that only petrol pumps will be given emergency facility and ambulance. Petrol pumps will not open for general public. During this time people will not get petrol. The vegetable market has also been closed.
The Collector has appealed to the general public to store their ration for 1 week before the lockdown comes into force. No black marketing and over-rating will be tolerated. The public is urged that there is no need to panic. You will get one and a half hours in the morning and evening for milk. All other businesses will be closed except petrol, LPG and medical stores.
Shops will open on Sunday 20 September
The collector informed that from September 21, the entire lockdown is being imposed in the district. Before that, orders have been given to open all the markets on Sunday. According to the old order of the district administration, the order to close the market was issued every Sunday. In which amendment has been given to open the market tomorrow.
In this case, SSP Ajay Yadav said that the entire city, the entire district has been declared as a Containment Zone. Any kind of movement is not allowed in the Containment Zone, all markets will be closed. People have enough time to make necessary purchases. Along with this, medical services, police, corporation and administration are available, there is nothing to panic.
There are 23 such fixed points in the entire district, the border of the district will also have to be sealed. The whole is 23 points for which the necessary force will be deployed. There are also 30,40 points inside the city, where a police patrolling team will be deployed. With this, if there is a crowd of people in the coming 3 days, then arrangements have also been made for this. If the over-rating is done, the corporation’s team has been appointed for it.
