On the instructions of Excise Minister Mr. Lakhma, the raids continue to stop the sale of illicit liquor
Raipur, 15 September 2020. On the instructions of Excise Minister Shri Kavasi Lakhma, hotels and dhabas have started operating in the state after lock-down. To prevent illegal sale and consumption of liquor in various hotels and dhabas, on September 14, several teams from the state level Udaanda, Divisional Udaanda and District Raipur under the direction of Excise Commissioner Mr. Niranjan Das and Managing Director Marketing Corporation Mr. AP Tripathi Dhabas and hotels were investigated. Sabera Hotel, Sankra by investigation teams; Meenu Dhaba Silatra; Rajasthani Dhaba, Dharsiwan; Annapurna Dhaba, Saddu; G. Ambe Dhaba, Saddu; Highway Dhaba, Bhumia; New Umesh Dhaba, Bemata; Taj Dhaba, Bemata; Royal Dhaba, Avarethi; Taj Dhaba, Simga; Balbir Dhaba; Green Light Dhaba; Prince Dhaba; Bunty Dhaba; Raju Dhaba; Anna Punjabi Dhaba; Pintu Dhaba; Hotel butlers; Raipur Family Dhaba; A total of 20 hotels / dhabas, including Khana-Kothi Hotel, were examined last night. The main objective of this investigation was not to allow illegal business to flourish. On investigation in 20 places, no case of sale or consumption of illicit liquor was found anywhere. On confirmation of the consumption of alcohol by sitting in only one place, the case was taken after taking action as per the rules.
This action will continue continuously and investigation will be done at other places and districts so that the sale and consumption of illegal liquor can be stopped.
