Instructions to increase the number of beds and ventilators with oxygen facility in Covid hospitals
Raipur. 14 September 2020. Health Minister T.S. Singhdev reviewed the measures and arrangements for control of Covid-19 at the State Covid Control and Command Center today. In a meeting with senior health department officials, he directed to increase the number of beds and ventilators with oxygen facility in Kovid hospitals for the treatment of serious patients of Kovid-19. He also called for adequate oxygen cylinders for emergency in Covid Care Centers. He also inquired about potential hospitals for setting up oxygen plants in the meeting.
Mr. Singhdev directed to increase the number of beds in Covid Care Centers for the treatment of coronas infected with no symptoms and mild symptoms. He called for making adequate arrangements for all basic facilities including quality food and drinking water in these centers. He called for the support of private hospitals to treat more and more patients with severe symptoms. The Health Minister instructed for regular monitoring of his health by simplifying the procedure for patients desirous of being treated in home isolation. He asked to examine 20 thousand samples daily across the state as per the target to identify the corona infected.
Health Minister Mr. Singhdev said that the health department is doing good work in coordination with various departments for control of Kovid-19 in the state. We have to work with patience even further in this challenging time to win the battle against Corona. Taking care of yourself amidst the dangers of corona infection is also safe by following all precautions and protocols. Additional Chief Secretary, Health Department, Renu G. Puppies, Director Health Services Shri Neeraj Bansod and Director of National Health Mission Dr. Priyanka Shukla, including senior officials of Health Department were present.
