Raipur, 13 September 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today announced development works worth Rs. 7 crore for the development of tourism infrastructure in the newly formed district Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi in the monthly radio talk Lokvani while discussing the topic ‘inclusive development, your hope’.

In Lokvani, the monthly radio talk of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, Shri Akhilesh Namdev from Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi district today thanked the Chief Minister for making Gowarela-Pendra-Marwahi district. He said that all of us in the newly formed tribal-dominated district are hopeful that holistic and inclusive development can be done in other areas including education, health. We are all interested in knowing what steps the Chhattisgarh government is going to take in this direction. The region is rich in tourism. If work is done here in the context of tourism, tourism will take the form of a big industry here. You are requested to do work related to tourism development here.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel while answering questions said that thank you to Akhilesh Namdev ji that you welcomed the formation of the Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi district. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that within 6 months of the formation of new district, about 100 crore rupees in the district. Approval of development works has been received. Many works are in progress. Marwahi Section, Marwahi Nagar Panchayat, Government English Medium School and Mahant Bisahudas Horticulture College, successive achievements are being added to the account of the new district.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel promised that the possibilities of tourism development in the new district will be realized. Also, it will be developed as a role model of rural development. He said that while honoring the natural beauty and historical importance of Rajmergarh and Kabir Chabutra, today I announce that the development of Eco Resort, Cafeteria and other tourism infrastructure will be done at a rapid pace. For this, development works will start soon at a cost of Rs 7 crore.
