Raipur: More than 30 thousand beds for Kovid patients in the state: Patients are being treated in Kovid Hospital 29 and 186 Kovid Care Centers.

Raipur 12 September 2020. There are total more than 30 thousand beds for Kovid patients in the state where they are being properly treated. Health Department officials said that there are a total of 29 Kovid Hospitals and 186 Kovid Care Centers in the state. There are 3551 beds available in hospitals and 25560 beds in Covid Care Center. Kovid patients are also treating 19 private hospitals in the state which have 1304 beds. Kovid Hospitals has 2775 General, 406 ICU and 370 HDU beds.
In view of the increasing infection of Corona, the department started increasing the availability of beds and training physicians from March itself. In March, there were 54 ICU beds, which was increased to 247 in May and 406 in June. HDU High Dependency Beds were not available in March which was increased to 100 in May, 296 in June and 370 in August. General beds were only 446 in March, which was increased to 2596 in May, June 11703, 21256 in July and 28335 in August, which is a major achievement. Thus in March where 500 beds were available in the state, which was increased to 29111 in August and patients are being properly treated and cared for in all hospitals.
