Raipur: Instructions to doctors and private hospitals monitoring patients in home isolation to make patient related information available to CMHO

Health Department issued circular to all CMHOs, private doctors and hospitals. 

Raipur. 11 September 2020. The Health Department has directed private hospitals, nursing homes and doctors monitoring patients living in home isolation to make information related to the patient and the information about termination of their home isolation to the Chief Medical and Health Officer of the district. The department has issued circulars in this regard to the Chief Medical and Health Officers of all districts, operators and doctors of private hospitals and nursing homes.

 

In the circular issued by the Department of Health, it has been said that Kovid-19 patients have been allowed home isolation by the state government as per the prescribed criteria. In addition to government facilities, treatment is being received in home isolation in accordance with the prescribed guidelines in coordination with private hospitals, nursing homes and private doctors. In this regard, it has come to the notice that some private hospitals and doctors are not compiling and sharing information of daily records of patients like temperature, oxygen level, symptoms of the patient and end of home isolation period.

 

The Health Department has directed the private hospitals, nursing homes and doctors monitoring the patients in home isolation to list all the persons availing this facility through them and informing them about the end of the home isolation period is essentially the chief of the district concerned. Medical and Health Officer and IDSP Share with branch. Also, in the home isolation, the daily information of the person being treated should also be compiled and shared according to the prescribed form. According to the criteria set by the government in the circular for home isolation, only Kovid-19 infected eligible to provide this facility.
