Dhamtari 06 September 2020. Collector and District Magistrate Dhamtari Shri Jai Prakash Maurya has banned the sale and use of plastic disposable glass and water pouches around the liquor shop to prevent the spread of corona virus. Also, the consumption of alcohol has been completely banned in the liquor shop premises. In view of this, continuous action is being taken by the Excise Team.
Section 36 (c) against Kulra resident Gulshan Sahu after the team was found to be providing liquor facilities using water pouches and plastic disposable glasses in village Ranwa on September 5. Action was taken under the Act. Similarly, against Section 36 (c), Pawan Sahu is found to be consuming liquor in Kurud. Section 36 (f) against Act and Ball, Anant Sahu, Dilip Sahu and Gulab Sahu. Case was registered under the Act.
