The process of recruitment for 5,967 constable posts is underway. An investigation team of officials from other districts is being formed to investigate the irregularities in recruitment in Rajnandgaon.
129 such cases have been found in Bilaspur, which had flaws. This was not hidden. We have taken due action on this. We have caught these cases after watching 95 thousand video footage. 1715 posts of women home guards have been released. The recruitment process is going on. Apart from this, the department has created many new posts. Ajaak police stations are being started in all the newly formed six districts. 90 new posts have been created for this. More than a hundred posts are also being created for new police stations in Sukma.
The Home Minister said that the budget of the Home Department has been increased by ten percent. There has been an increase of 104 percent in capital expenditure. The Home Department has received sufficient budget for infrastructure. A provision has been made in the budget to build 2884 houses for the Home Department. A provision has been made for the repair of previously constructed houses of the Home Department.
He said that a provision of Rs 16 crore has been made in the budget for residential barracks for investigators. These barracks will be built in rural areas. There is also a provision for building multi-story barracks. There is a provision of Rs 8 crore for building transit hostels at eight places. Sufficient funds have been kept in the budget for construction work to be done in the Home Department.
He said that the concern shown by Narendra Modi and Vishnudev Sai for women will never be matched. Be it Mahtari Vandan or Mahtari Sadan, along with all these schemes, three new Mahila Thanas are being started. For this, 180 new posts are being created. 180 new posts are being created to convert five new police posts into police stations. 100 new posts are being created for the Anti Narcotics Task Force in ten districts.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that new posts are being created for Bilaspur Airport, CM Security, Bilaspur High Court, Intelligence Branch. One thousand seven posts have been approved for a new battalion. Formation of SISF has been approved at the state level. Five hundred posts have been approved for this. SOG is being formed on the lines of NSG. 44 posts are being created for this.
He said that cyber crime has increased due to digital transactions. About 40 percent of the world’s payments are being made in India. Five new cyber police stations are being started to prevent cyber crime. Cyber forensic lab is ready in Raipur. From January 1, 24 to January 1, 25, more than 23 lakh calls have been received on call number 1930 started to prevent cyber crime. A unit of NFSU will be started in Chhattisgarh.
The Home Minister said that 3202 new posts have been approved for Bastar Fighter. In this way, a total of 6 thousand 85 new posts are being created. If someone went to Gadpa in Narayanpur 25 years ago, he would have seen the market. Now after 25 years, the market is being set up there again. This miracle has happened because of the country’s second Iron Man Amit Shah. Amit Shah has pledged to end Naxalism by March 2026.
The minister said that people in Bastar know that the market in Pujari Kanker has also become vibrant. Earlier, one used to go to Pamed from Bijapur via Telangana. Now a direct bus service has been started for this. More than five hundred new mobile towers have been installed in the entire Bastar. 55 new camps have been started in Bastar. Now people are coming out of Niyaad Nellnar village. These are people who had never seen Raipur. 70 percent of the people are such who had not even seen Jagdalpur. For the first time, these people have cast their vote in the elections.
There is a kind of group which used to say that tribals are harassed in Bastar. 55 people who lost their hands and legs in Naxal violence went to Delhi. The Union Home Minister welcomed them at his home. The President met them. A press conference was held in Delhi where there was no leader. The victims of Bastar were sitting in front of the world media. They requested Amit Shah to end Naxalism. Among them was a 14-year-old girl who was injured after being hit by a tiffin bomb.
He said that those areas of Bastar were deprived of facilities like mobile, electricity, roads. Now ration cards are being made there. Ration cards are being made. Facilities are reaching those areas. The amount given to Naxalites who surrender en masse will now be doubled. We are going to start the Ilvad Panchayat Abhiyan in Bastar. Ilvad means to be free. Villages that are freed from Naxalism will be given an amount of one crore rupees. Panchayat and police department will complete this task by increasing their pace.
One lakh twenty five thousand people participated in Bastar Olympics. Among them were people who chose to leave Naxalism and join the mainstream. Earlier, teams that had come to the mainstream after carrying guns in the jungles were also there. People from five states came there and tried to convince the local people to return to the mainstream. Bastar Pandum is being organized in Dantewada from April 1 to April 3. People from all over the country are coming to see it. Bastar’s culture and arts will be seen at one place.
Statues of the immortal martyrs who sacrificed their lives against Naxalism will be installed in the villages of Bastar. Their memorial will be built. There should be no worry about ending Naxalism in Bastar. I have been to Silger, I have been to Purvati. There is no electricity there, no water, no mobile towers, a 25-year-old youth has never seen TV. Now change has come there. Armed Naxalism will be ended in March 2026. There is no doubt about this.
The Home Minister said that a team of experts is being formed for cases like NDPS, cow smuggling. Provision has also been made for this in the budget. Property made from drug trade is being confiscated. This has been done for the first time in the state. Property worth four crores has been confiscated in Bilaspur and Durg. Tenants who give houses, shops, land on rent have to give information on an application. Through this information, its data will reach the police.
Abhivyakti app has been launched for the safety of women. This app also has provision of SOS. Information about stolen vehicles can be obtained through the Sashakt app. SOP has been issued for law and order that which matters the administration and police have to pay attention to.
Vijay Sharma said that efforts are being made to make the jail a centre for education, health, entertainment and legal aid. The state’s jails have a capacity of 14 thousand prisoners but there are 18 thousand prisoners there. Now 64 new barracks are being constructed. Three thousand prisoners can be kept in these. Approval has also been given for some new barracks. Two and a half thousand prisoners can be kept in these too. The capacity of the jails will be to keep about twenty thousand prisoners.
More than a thousand health camps have been set up inside the jail. In the last one year, 1900 prisoners have become literate. Every effort is being made to build cow shelters in jails. Water was brought from Prayagraj for the purification of the prisoners in jails. The prisoners were made to bathe in the water of Sangam.
Vijay Sharma said, when we were in the opposition, we gheraoed the Vidhan Sabha for More Housing More Rights. There are movements in democracy. We were doing a symbolic movement and bombs were thrown at us. At that time itself we had said that after the formation of the government, 18 lakh houses will be approved in the first cabinet meeting itself.
Housing was given according to the survey list of 2011. The previous government had not fulfilled the target of the housing scheme. The Prime Minister had approved eight lakh houses in the waiting list of Awas Plus. Chhattisgarh was the only state in the country that had not fulfilled the target.
He said that I should make it clear about the housing scheme that the scheme for 18 lakh 12 new houses is separate. The survey work for new houses has already begun. The Panchayat secretary is conducting the housing survey. The mobile application is on his mobile. Names can be added to Awas Plus through the Panchayat secretary. April is the last month.
Earlier, people who had mobile phones, motorcycles, or a little land were disqualified. But now they will also be included in the survey. The government had made a provision of eight thousand crores in its last budget. 7 lakh 69 thousand houses have been approved. The neighboring states kept building houses but the previous government did not build houses. Panchayat minister of the previous government TS Singhdev had resigned saying that the state government had not given the state share for the housing scheme.

In this, grant demands of Rs 8237 crore 13 lakh 16 thousand for the expenditure related to the Police Department, Rs 141 crore 64 lakh 25 thousand for the expenditure related to the Home Department, Rs 278 crore 99 lakh 90 thousand for the Jail Department, Rs 8055 crore 65 lakh 97 thousand for the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Rs 4025 crore 76 lakh 69 thousand for the financial assistance of three-tier Panchayati Raj Institutions, Rs 64 crore for Science and Technology and Rs 474 crore 8 lakh 4 thousand for the Technical Education and Employment Department were passed.
