Raipur. Congress will protest tomorrow against the ED action at the house of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. Congress will burn the effigy of ED and BJP government in all the district headquarters tomorrow. ED will question Chaitanya Baghel tomorrow.

The ED team was raiding Bhupesh Baghel’s house and son Chaitanya Baghel’s hideouts since this morning in connection with the liquor scam. After examining the documents, the ED recovered 33 lakh cash from Baghel’s house and returned. Chaitanya Baghel has been summoned to the ED office on Tuesday for questioning.
Let us tell you that ED officials questioned Bhupesh Baghel and his family for 11 hours. They examined documents and gold and silver jewellery. They also inquired about the mobile phones and call details of the family members. The ED team has recovered Rs 33 lakh in cash from Bhupesh’s house.
After the ED action, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said in a press conference, ED officials reached my residence early in the morning. They stopped me from going to the Vidhan Sabha. When I did not give my mobile phone, they stopped me from talking. During the investigation, 33 lakh rupees in cash was found. We have asked them to give an account of it. They searched the cupboards of my wife, daughter-in-law, children and son, but they found nothing.
Baghel linked the ED raids to Punjab
Bhupesh Baghel said, asking questions in the assembly has become a crime. I questioned Vijay Sharma in the assembly and then ED was sent. This raid was conducted due to BJP’s frustration. Such actions are taken to harass, defame and trouble. ED did not find anything so the action ended by evening. He said, Congress has given me the charge of Punjab, this is also the reason for the raid at my place. ED has inquired about how much property is there in the house. No one has the power to press the hands of Bhupesh Baghel. Bhupesh Baghel is not going to be afraid.
