Raipur: Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai inaugurated the dialysis center at Community Health Center Kunkuri

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today virtually inaugurated a four-bed dialysis centre at Community Health Centre, Kunkuri at CM Camp Office, Bagia. This dialysis centre is an important step towards expanding health facilities in the district, due to which patients of Kunkuri and surrounding areas will no longer need to go to Ambikapur or Ranchi for treatment.

Another important step in expanding health services

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our endeavour is to ensure that health facilities reach the people easily. With the opening of the dialysis centre in Kunkuri, patients will no longer have to travel long distances and will get the best treatment near their homes. He said that the state government is continuously expanding health services in Jashpur district. This initiative is a big step towards providing quick, accessible and advanced medical facilities to the citizens of the district.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the state government is determined to make health services accessible and advanced. Special efforts are being made to provide better medical facilities to the citizens of Jashpur district. In this series, approval has also been given for a 220-bed modern hospital in Kunkuri, which will enable the citizens of the district to get state-of-the-art health facilities.

Dialysis services now more accessible

In Jashpur district, continuous work is being done to provide free dialysis services to poor and needy patients under the National Health Mission. At present, a 5-bed dialysis unit is operating in the District Hospital Jashpur and a 3-bed dialysis unit in the Community Health Center, Pathalgaon. In this series, a 4-bed dialysis unit has now been started in the Community Health Center, Kunkuri. This will benefit more than 75 kidney patients of the district, who will no longer have to travel long distances. So far, a total of 18,171 dialysis sessions have been given to 217 patients in the district.

It is noteworthy that on this occasion, Raigarh MP Shri Radheshyam Rathia, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Devendra Pratap Singh, Shri Krishna Rai, Vice President of Surguja Development Authority and MLA Smt. Gomti Sai, newly elected Duldula BDC Shri Shaurya Pratap Singh Judev along with a large number of local public representatives and villagers were present.
