Announcement of sanctioning 10 lakh rupees for Balika Griha

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai reached the Government Girls Home in Khamhardih in the capital Raipur and celebrated his birthday with simplicity with little smiles. Chief Minister Shri Sai shared his special day with these little smiles and gave the message that participating in the happiness of every section of the society is the identity of true leadership.
Chief Minister Shri Sai cut the cake with the girls in the Balika Grih, spent time with them and listened to their innocent laughter and talks with great affection. During this, the girls expressed their small wishes to him, among which was the demand for a sound box. The Chief Minister immediately fulfilled it and presented this gift to the Balika Grih. Apart from this, he announced to provide Rs 10 lakh for computers, water coolers and other facilities in the Balika Grih, so that the girls living here do not face any inconvenience in their education.
Chief Minister Shri Sai shared memories of his school life
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai shared memories of his school life. He told that the primary school in his village was thatched and water used to drip during rainy days. He told the girls that they are lucky that they have got a better hostel and a good environment for studies. He inspired the girls to study with dedication and hard work and explained that education is the key to success. Giving examples of the life struggles of great personalities of the country and the world, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that instead of being afraid of struggles, they should make them their strength. He assured the girls that the state government will provide every possible help for their bright future.
It is noteworthy that currently 57 girls are living in the Balika Griha, where the Women and Child Development Department is providing them free accommodation, food, education and medical facilities.
On this occasion, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, Secretary of Women and Child Development Department Mrs. Shammi Abidi, Raipur Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and other officials were present.
