Chhattisgarh State Election Commissioner Mr. Ajay Singh will be on a tour of Surguja and Surajpur districts on January 30 along with the officials of the State Election Commission. During this period, State Election Commissioner Mr. Ajay Singh will review the arrangements of strong rooms and polling centers established in view of the urban body and three-tier panchayat elections in the said two districts. Mr. Singh will review the election process and the status of preparations by holding a meeting with the Divisional Commissioner, Inspector General of Police, Collector and District Election Officer, Superintendent of Police and Returning Officer in both the districts.
According to the information received, State Election Commissioner Shri Ajay Singh, along with the officials of the State Election Commission will go to Ambikapur from Raipur Airport on January 30 by state plane/helicopter and will inspect the strong room and polling centers from 11 am to 12 noon and will review the election process and preparations by holding a meeting with Divisional Commissioner, Inspector General of Police, Collector and District Election Officer, Superintendent of Police and Returning Officer at the district headquarters.
State Election Commissioner Shri Ajay Singh will go to Surajpur by road from Ambikapur at 12 noon and after inspecting the strong room and polling centers from 1 pm to 2 pm, he will hold a meeting with the Divisional Commissioner, Inspector General of Police, Collector and District Election Officer, Superintendent of Police and Returning Officer at the district headquarters and discuss administrative preparations regarding the election. After this, State Election Commissioner Shri Singh will go from Surajpur to Ambikapur and from there will return to Raipur by air at 5 pm.
