In this case, SDM Ashutosh Dewangan said that one should be 21 years old to contest elections but Akanksha Vaishnav has not yet completed 21 years of age, so her nomination has been cancelled. Akanksha Vaishnav was declared the candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party from ward number 19 backward class free of Tilda Nagar Palika.

The cancellation of the nomination of the candidate declared by the BJP is giving rise to many questions. Were the party workers who claimed the ticket also not aware of this? Many such unanswered questions are arising after the cancellation of this nomination. At present, since the last date for nomination is tomorrow i.e. 28 January, the BJP is now preparing to make someone else a candidate from Ward 16.
