CG Urban Body and Panchayat Elections 2025: Congress formed state level control room, know who got what responsibility

Raipur. Keeping in mind the preparations for the urban body and three-tier panchayat elections in Chhattisgarh, the Congress has formed a state-level control room. This control room will work with a team of 15 members. The responsibility of this control room has been handed over to Salim Rizvi and Deepak Mishra. Under their leadership, the election activities will be closely monitored.

Let us tell you that the main objective of the control room is to provide information about every election-related activity to the State Congress Committee and strengthen the election strategy. This control room will prove to be helpful in improving the performance of Congress in the urban body and panchayat elections.

Election dates announced

It is worth noting that the dates for the urban body and panchayat elections have been announced in Chhattisgarh. State Election Commission chief Ajay Singh informed about the election dates through a press conference at 3 pm on Monday. According to the announcement, the civic elections will be held on February 11. The results of the Municipal Corporation, Municipality and Nagar Panchayat will be declared on February 15. Along with this, the Election Commission has also announced the Panchayat elections. For this, voting will be held in 3 phases on February 17, 20 and 23. While, the results will come on February 18, 21 and 24.
