Super specialty hospital is being prepared as per the wishes of the Chief Minister

To improve health facilities in the Bastar region, a super specialty hospital is being constructed in Jagdalpur as per the wish of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. This super specialty hospital being built in front of Jagdalpur Medical College will provide state-of-the-art treatment facilities to the people of the Bastar region. Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal today inspected the Medical College, Maharani District Hospital and the under-construction super specialty hospital in Jagdalpur and directed the officials to complete the under-construction hospital and make immediate arrangements for CT scan, MRI and other medical equipment to start this hospital soon.
Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal directed the officials to provide residential facilities for the doctors and other paramedical staff of the Super Specialty Hospital. He also directed to expand the pediatric ward of the late Shri Baliram Kashyap Medical College Hospital and appoint an operator for the proper operation of CCTV. He also inspected the Intensive Care Unit for Newborns, the pediatric ward and the surgical ward in Jagdalpur. He inquired about the facilities of the hospital from the patients and their relatives who came to the hospital.
Health Minister Shri Jaiswal inspected the OPD, IPD and ICU of Maharani District Hospital and Mother and Child Health Hospital and met the patients admitted in various wards. He inquired from the patients and their relatives about the free medicine scheme as well as the facilities of the hospital. Shri Jaiswal inspected various wards including cleanliness, prescription counter, helpdesk counter, mother child centre, labour room, CT scan centre in the hospital. He took stock and inquired about the availability of medicines at the hospital’s medicine store. During this, many public representatives including MLA Chitrakot Shri Vinayak Goyal and senior administrative officers and other doctors and officers were present.
