Health Minister attended the two-day state level review meeting of the Health Department

Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal attended the state level review meeting of the Health Department held in the auditorium of the Circuit House located in Civil Lines on Friday. This review meeting which started on Friday will continue for two days. On the first day of the review meeting, the Health Minister reviewed the work of the department in detail. During this, while addressing the officials of the Health Department, Shri Jaiswal said that all the officers and doctors should work selflessly keeping in mind the health of the general public.
He said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, work is being done to continuously expand health facilities at the state level. Super specialty hospital to be built at a cost of 200 crores in Bilaspur, e-tender of Rs 231 crore for 700 bedded integrated new hospital building in Mekahara, Raipur, e-tender of Rs 1 thousand 20 crores for four new medical colleges, recruitment of more than 8 hundred medical officers, specialist doctors and paramedical staff within a year through National Health Mission, MBBS studies in Hindi in the state, decisions like these have strengthened the health services in the state. Shri Jaiswal, while giving necessary instructions to the officials of the Health Department for better operation and implementation of the schemes, said that the benefits of health services should be ensured to the common people. Along with senior departmental officials, officials from the districts were also present in the departmental review meeting.
