Balodabazar. Chhattisgarh’s Balodabazar police has arrested two fraudsters who used to print and circulate fake notes in the district. The police have seized fake notes worth Rs 2 lakh 32 thousand 400 and also the equipment used for printing notes from these fraudsters. Both the fraudsters used to print notes by renting a house in Vinayak Nagar of Bhatgaon in the capital Raipur.Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Singh, while revealing the case, said that the names of these two youths who printed fake notes are Bhuvan Sahu and Tushar Sahu, who are residents of Lavan Nagar Panchayat of the district. Information was received from the informer that these two along with one of their companions were circulating fake notes on the pretext of buying goods in the shops of Lavan for the last few days. After this, the police took Bhuvan and Tushar into custody and brought them to the police station and questioned them about circulating fake notes, during which both of them confessed to printing fake notes in the capital and then circulating them on the pretext of bu

On the information given by Bhuvan and Tushar, the police raided their hideout in Vinayak Nagar, Raipur. During this, fake notes of 100, 200 and 500 rupees worth 2 lakh 32 thousand 400 rupees were recovered from the spot. Apart from this, materials for making fake notes, such as paper, computer, printer have also been recovered by the police from the spot. Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Singh said that Bhuvan and Tushar are habitual criminals, apart from this, one of their accomplices is still absconding, on whose search the police is engaged. He said that both the accused will be taken on remand and further interrogation will be done, due to which more revelations are expected in this case.
