Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has paid tribute to Hockey Magician Padma Bhushan Major Dhyan Chand on his death anniversary on 03 December. Recalling the invaluable contribution of Major Dhyan Chand in the field of sports, Shri Sai said that Major Dhyan Chand ji has become the identity of hockey in India with his talent and dedication, love and discipline towards hockey. Due to his magical game, India won three gold medals in the Olympic Games. His birthday is celebrated as National Sports Day in India. The Chief Minister said that Major Dhyan Chand’s dedication towards sports and his patriotism are inspiring for all of us.
